Stenciling with Cake Sparkles™ on Icing

To keep excess Cake Sparkles from spilling out onto the cake top when you remove the stencil, spray the top of the stencil with non-stick cooking spray before stenciling. Loose Sparkles will stick on!

Steps:

Step 1: Ice Cake

Ice cake and let icing crust slightly. Before starting, refer to directions on stencil package and spray stencil with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 2: Sprinkle Cake Sparkles Over Stencil

Position stencil on cake. Using a fine mesh strainer, sprinkle crushed Cake Sparkles carefully over stencil openings until filled in. Use the end of a wooden spoon to evenly push Cake Sparkles through strainer.

Step 3: Remove Stencil

Remove stencil, placing spatula under one side and lifting off.
