Each bite of these sweet treats bursts with cherry and chocolate flavor, making it hard to avoid the temptation to eat bonbons all day!
Preheat oven to 350°F. In small bowl, combine flour, cocoa and baking powder; set aside. In medium bowl, cream butter and sugar using electric mixer. Add egg and cherry juice to sugar mixture; mix well. Stir in flour mixture; mix until just combined.
Shape dough into 1-in. balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, 1 in. apart. Gently press down center of each ball with thumb to create an indentation. Place a cherry in each indentation.
Bake 12-14 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. Cool cookies 3 minutes on cookie sheet. Transfer to cooling grid; cool completely.
Melt Candy Melts following package instructions. Drizzle over cooled cookies.
Makes about 24 cookies.
