Tulip Treats

These cute little cookie pops in pots make perfect place markers or fun top-of-desk gifts. Using some pretty ribbon, it takes little time to get crafty with cookies.

Each treat serves 1.

Step 1

Step 1: Make Cookies

Prepare your favorite sugar cookie recipe or use refrigerated cookie dough. Divide dough into 5 portions and tint violet, yellow, rose, blue and green by kneading in a small amount of icing color. Roll out each color except green. Cut cookies using tulip cutter from mini metal set. Sprinkle cookies with same color sugars. Roll out green dough. Cut leaf cookies using smallest Cut-Out. Bake cookies at 375°for 5-8 minutes or until edges are light brown. Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.

Step 2

Step 2: Assemble Flowers

Dilute small amount of green icing color with clear vanilla extract or water. Paint lollipop stick "stems" with mixture. Let dry in craft block, do not lay stems on a flat surface to dry. Attach flower and leaf cookies to sticks with melted candy or royal icing; allow to dry completely.

Step 3

Step 3: Prepare Flower Pots

Cut craft foam blocks into pieces which fit inside flower pots; place inside pots. Cut 12 in. pieces of green curling ribbon; curl and hot glue to craft block. Cut 12 in. pieces of curling ribbon in same colors as tulips; tie into bows and hot glue to fronts of pots. Cut card stock into rectangles; write message with marker and attach to pots with hot glue. Insert flowers into pots.
