Serves about 16.
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray 2 9-in. round cake pans with vegetable pan spray. In large bowl, combine cake mix, sour cream, egg whites and vegetable oil with electric mixer; beat on high with electric mixer 2-3 minutes. Gradually add pureed strawberries. Continue mixing until well blended, about 2 minutes. Divide batter evenly between prepared pans.
Bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on cooling rack 8-10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely on rack.
In large bowl, combine cream cheese and melted white candy with electric mixer; mix well. Gently stir in whipped topping; mix well.
To assemble cake, place one cake layer on serving plate or cake board. Spoon half of icing over cake layer. Arrange 1 cup strawberry slices over icing. Place second cake layer over strawberries; spread remaining icing over top layer. Arrange remaining strawberry slices. Chill cake until ready to serve.
