People Pops
This perky crew will bring smiles to all! Personalize the arrangement by making the cookies look like guest or family members. Choose sugar cookies or gingerbread - both are perfect for these pops. Or, at the holidays, buy ready-baked gingerbread boys and girls, decorate them and attach to a stick. These pops are tops!

Step 1: Bake The Cookies
Prepare your favorite sugar cookie or gingerbread recipe or use our recipes. Roll out dough 1/8-in. thick; cut boy cookies using metal cutters. Bake at 350°F for 9-11 minutes or until edges are light brown. Cool on sheet on cooling grid 2 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely on cooling grid. Attach lollipop sticks to backs of cookies with melted Candy Melts; let dry.
Step 2: Decorate Boy Pops
Tint royal icing desired colors; reserve some white. With tip 5, outline and fill in shirt and pants; pat smooth using finger dipped in cornstarch. Add tip 3 outline mouth, dot eyes, nose, cheeks and buttons. Pipe tip 3 outline tie; add outline, zigzag or pull-out hair.
Step 3: Decorate Girl Pops
Tint royal icing desired colors; reserve some white. With tip 5, outline and fill in blouse; pat smooth using finger dipped in cornstarch. Add tip 3 outline mouth, dot eyes, nose, cheeks and buttons. Stripe decorating bag fitted with tip 102 with colored icing; fill bag with white or second color of icing. Pipe ruffle skirt. Add tip 233 pull-out, tip 16 rosette or zigzag hair. Add tip 2 clothing details.
