Each cookie and candy serves 1.
Make Roll-Out Cookie recipe or use refrigerated sugar cookie dough; roll out and cut into 5 in. squares. Use ruler and knife to score grids into nine 1-5/8 in. squares. Bake. If edges have spread during baking, use knife to trim evenly before cooling. Cool completely.
Use tip 3 and pipe black royal icing grid lines. Dry completely.
Melt candy. If desired, add candy color. Mold candy; refrigerate to set. Unmold. Attach numbers to cookies with melted candy.
