In The Dog House
Make man’s best friend the centerpiece of your next party – or host a party for your pet, inviting neighborhood pets with their human best friends! In place of a cake for the pet owners pleasure, a crispy rice cereal treat is used.
Serves 12.
Step 1: Prepare Treat
Spray house pan with vegetable pan spray. Prepare Rice Cereal Crispy Treat recipe; press firmly into prepared pan. Remove from pan; place on foil-wrapped cake board cut to fit treat.
Step 2: Decorate House
Spatula ice house with white buttercream. Outline tip 5 bricks. Tint remaining icing red, black, light brown and dark brown. Outline tip 21 red door trim; spatula ice black doorway. Add tip 12 light brown dog bone above door; pipe tip 3 message. Create roof with red tip 21 stripes; finish with zigzag red roof eaves.
Step 3: Add Dog
Pipe tip 12 light brown elongated bead dog head and jowls. Add tip 12 dark brown ears and tip 3 black eyes, nose and mouth. Finish with tip 16 pull out star green grass.
