Break up chalk by rubbing through tea strainer. Brush chalk onto flowers, as desired. Set aside.
Bake your favorite 2-layer cake recipe or mix in square pan. Cool cake in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely. Place on foil-wrapped cake board. Spatula ice cake smooth with green icing.
Position cake on turntable. Using tip 17, decorate top border with reverse shells and bottom border with shells. Position flowers into flower spikes; insert into cake.
