Several days before decorating cake, make fondant bow.
Bake your favorite 2-layer cake recipe or mix following recipe instructions in the 6 in. and 8 in. pans. Cool layers in pans on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.
Arrange cakes on same-sized cake boards. Place 8 in. cake on silver cake base, securing with icing. Lightly ice each cake in buttercream icing to prepare for fondant covering. Insert dowel rods into 8 in. layer.
Tint fondant yellow and peach, reserving some white. Roll out colored fondant 1/8 in. thick; cover 6 in. cake with yellow, 8 in. cake with peach; smooth. Position 6 in. cake on 8 in. tier, placing over dowel rods and centering.
Roll out reserved white fondant 1/8 in. thick and cut circles using the small round Cut-Out. Attach circles in vertical rows, spaced 1/2 in. apart, on the sides of each cake, using a damp brush. Roll 1/2 in. diameter fondant balls and attach for bottom borders with damp brush. Position bow on top of cake.
