Step 1: Bake The Cake

Bake and cool 1-layer crown-shaped cake. Place on foil-wrapped cake board cut to fit cake.

Step 2: Decorate The Cake

Ice sides, main crown area and background areas smooth with spatula. Position candy-coated chocolates on crown points. Ice base of crown fluffy. Position candy-coated chocolates. Cut pieces of licorice and position to form message.
