Line muffin pan with baking cups. Fill 1/2 full with your favorite chocolate cupcake recipe or batter from a mix. Bake according to recipe instructions. Cool completely.
Fill decorating bag fitted with tip 1M with chocolate buttercream icing. Cover cupcake tops with icing swirl. Press chopped chocolate pieces and chocolate chips into icing swirl.
Place cupcakes on cupcake stand or other serving piece.
