Cookie Star Shower

Guests will think of colorful fireworks when they see these fun cookies at the center of the celebration.  Cookie pop arrangements are a fun way to serve and display cookies.

Step 1: Bake Cookies

Prepare cookie dough and roll out. Cut assorted sizes of star cookies; sprinkle some cookies as desired with colored sugars.  Bake and cool all cookies.

Step 2: Decorate

Ice plain cookies smooth with spatula and sprinkle immediately with sugars; let set. Turn cookies over and attach cookie treat sticks to backs with melted candy or royal icing; let dry.

Step 3: Celebrate

Cut craft block to fit container; cover with foil and position inside container. Insert cookies in craft block at staggered heights. Place curling ribbon in container.
