All my cakes are too moist to frost easily. How do I make a denser cake?

Pound cakes are more dense than regular cakes, and usually bake up with a firmer crumb, making them easier to ice. Replacing some of the oil called for in a cake mix with sour cream or yogurt will make a denser cake, also.
