On your Black Forest Cake, why do you not use the drained cherry juice for water in the cake mix? I have made this same recipe for years, using the cherry juice and it is so much better.

You can certainly use cherry juice or other liquids when preparing cake mixes – it’s a fun way to add flavor! In fact, our Summer Breeze Margarita Cupcakes use margarita mix for the liquid in making the white cake mix. That’s the fun of creative baking – enjoy!
