I have trouble getting the fondant onto a cake that is more than 10 inches wide. I try wrapping it around the rolling pin, but it always has stretched spots and breaks.

It does take practice, and dexterity, to move a large piece of rolled out fondant! When moving large pieces of fondant, we recommend sliding a cake circle or board under the fondant, moving it to the cake, then sliding it off the board and onto the cake.
