If you are making a Gingerbread House, you could make our version of Gingerbread, which only uses molasses, not cocoa powder, or the Blonde Gingerbread version, which is made with light corn syrup in place of the molasses. If you are just making cookies, not building with the gingerbread, you can add spices like ground cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves to our Roll-Out Cookie recipe, then cut out, bake and decorate as you would Gingerbread.
