Please help. How do you cut a cake that is from a 3D pan or the big cupcake pan. If you have these taller cakes and cut them, do the unlucky people that get the second layer only get cake and no icing? Help!

Cutting a larger 3D cake is not too much different than cutting a multi-tier wedding or party cake. You start at the top and cut a “layer” horizontally across, place it to the side where you cut small individual servings. You work your way down the cake in this manner to the bottom. If the bottom of your cake is not iced, then unfortunately, guests will not get icing with their slice of cake.
