First, find firm, non-poisonous leaves. Lemon leaves are a favorite of ours - some grocery stores and florists have them carry them, but they can be ordered, if necessary. Wash and thoroughly dry the leaves. Melt Candy Melts or other chocolate candy following package instructions. Paint the dry leaves with the melted candy – several coats are usually needed. Allow to dry and harden completely. Gently pull the leaf off the hardened candy – perfect chocolate leaves!
