I want to try to decorate a cake using Color Flow decorations. How do you store the Color Flow icing while the outline is crusting? I’m going to be using several colors. Do I prepare all the colors needed and try to keep them moist, or do I color as needed, and then how do I keep the icing moist?

Tina - from Cape Coral, FL

Color Flow icing crusts within seconds, so it is important to keep icing you are not using covered at all times (placing plastic wrap on the bowl works great!) When using a variety of colors, we recommend doing all of the sections of one color first before starting on the next. That assures that your color will match from one part to the other.
