Splenda Granulated can be used almost anywhere you use sugar in baking, but its baking properties are slightly different from sugar. Although it provides the same sweetness as regular sugar, baked goods will not brown as well, may bake more quickly and will dry out more quickly because real sugar is a natural preservative. You can also use Splenda Granulated for frosting, candy and fudge, but even though it measures cup for cup like sugar, it does not provide the same structure and texture. Because of this, it is recommended that you only replace 25% of the sugar with Splenda Granulated.
