Icing color can be difficult to remove from fingers, towels, etc. Multiple scrubbings with soap and a fingernail brush will often to the trick. For stubborn stains (red is a particular culprit!) we sometimes use clear vanilla soaked into a paper towel; rub your stained fingers with the towel. It doesn't always remove all of the stain, but it does reduce the color greatly.
