I am making a wedding cake for my nephew. Their colors are maroon and silver. Can I make a silver pearl dust paste and brush it on my icing roses? If so what type of icing should be used? Should I mix the dust with vodka, vanilla extract?

You can dust hardened royal icing flower or fondant decorations with Pearl Dust. It can be applied either dried directly from the bottle or in a mixture of either clear vanilla extract, lemon extract or vodka. For either method, you would use a food-safe brush to apply the Pearl Dust to the flower or other decoration.
