Coloring Clear Piping Gel creates a shiny, translucent icing for cakes, cupcakes and cookies. Placed directly on these baked goods, you'll see the surface of the treat through the icing, unless you ice with buttercream first. We often use blue colored piping gel to create the look of water!
Black icing color can taste bitter to some people, so to make black buttercream icing, we recommend starting with chocolate icing, then adding black paste icing color to get a deep, dark black. For royal icing, you can start by adding brown icing color, then add the black color.
