I am making a shower cake and am making fondant baby bottles and duckies, but was wondering how soon I can work on them? Can I make the fondant baby bottles and such a week in advance? And if so, how do I store them? Thank you for your help.

Generally, fondant decorations are not eaten because most are made in advance and allowed to harden. That means, you can make your fondant decorations and store them indefinitely. Once the fondant is dry, place the decorations in an air tight container and store in a cool place. Never refrigerate or freeze fondant before use.
