I decorated a small wedding cake with butter cream and then I stenciled patterns using royal icing 24 hours before celebration. Can I keep the cake into the fridge for 24 hours?

I would suggest keeping the cake at room temperature because the humidity from the refrigerator will soften the royal icing decorations. In the future, you can store buttercream iced cakes at room temperature for two to three days.
