I have a good recipe for a sheet cake. Can I use this recipe and make a layer cake?

Yes, most sheet cake recipes can be adapted to layer cakes. Just check our handy Baking and Serving Guide that tells you how much batter should be used in different pan sizes. The chart will also tell you how long the layers should take, and you’ll find information about how much icing is needed to ice the different sizes of cakes!
